Corny habits affect a Happy New Year?

Posted by Anastacia on December 31, 2011 at 7:40 PM

It is a new year in the Christian world. Many folks look for a new years resolution to put some pep back into their lives. They seek change and ‘new life’. I wonder, What is the top new years resolutions? Can you take a guess?

#1 is spend more time with friends and family. The runners up are #2 fit in fitness and #3 tame the bulge. #4 is quit smoking and #5 is enjoy life more.

How can we more time with family, fit the gym in, while enjoying life? Glad you asked.

You don’t need to spend a million dollars to find the answer, but some do. Approximately, 64% of Americans are using diet supplements to the tune of about $35 billion a year according to some estimates. The weight loss industry is huge. Despite that, people don't seem to be getting thinner! Why?

There are other, northern industries, which we are ignoring while we look south to our belts. These industries are making us fat, sedentary and unhappy.

Let’s take a look at how farmers fatten up their animals, first by looking at the animal feed.

Most folks don’t realize that they are eating a corn fed cow-burgers and surrounding that burger is corn syrup burdened bun. We feed corn to our kids, predisposing them to obesity. They, us essentially, are growing up hungry all the time, hungry for REAL food that has sufficient calories and nutrients.

One example of something you and yours may have enjoyed, since the beginning of December, is marshmallow topped hot chocolate. Did you know that the hot chocolate mix contains corn? Not only does the chocolate contain corn, but the marshmallows as well. Why does chocolate Have to contain corn? It Doesn't! Another, Unknown fact is that corn is genetically modified or engineered. Now what the heck does That mean? It means a team of scientists are taking genes from a VERY fridged-water dwelling fish and mixing them with your yellow, NATURAL corn seed and selling it to our farmers. Note-Our farmers are not growing corn, scientists are. This corn is then fed to cows, pigs, and chickens and we eat Them…and we also eat the GM/GE corn bread, and corn-syrup cola.

Perhaps, this explains some of our Kankles, Thunder thighs and Muffin tops?

Need a solution for corn FREE chocolate and marshmallows, simple, don’t eat that stuff!

WELL, that is no fun, right?

Here’s corn-FREE hot chocolate powder and

Here’s a recipe for corn-FREE marshmallows- helping with resolution #1 (spend more time with family in the kitchen). you can substitute raw honey for sugar, as well.

Surprisingly, this also helps with #2 and #3 because the less (GE) CORN you eat, the less bulge you will acquire and have to burn off.

The more REAL food you eat, greater chances you will ingest REAL calories vs. empty ones…you and/or yours may even feel like smoking just doesn’t fit into this new healthy lifestyle and you will all feel happier! No, I am not saying that drinking corn-free hot chocolate and corn-free puffs are a healthy food choice, but it’s a wonderful start. Less chemicals in your food and a higher self-immunity=happier you.

Next time you buy a boxed product, look for corn as an ingredient and ask, Why?..and then put it back on the shelf. Note-if it is NOT labeled organic corn- it is Fishy!

Want more info on GE corn and other GE seeds like soy, read about Monsanto or watch this video.
